Danni Scott
Restoration Specialist
In May 2024, Danni earned her bachelors in Geoscience: Earth Systems, with a minor in Sustainability and Resilience, from West Chester University. During her time at West Chester, Danni was a member of the Earth and Space Science Club and Students for Sustainability Club, as well as attended the annual Students for Zero Waste summit.
Danni recalls always having been an outdoorsy person. Throughout her later years of education, she became more focused on a passion for environmental activism and conservation. This passion was sparked not only from school, but also through participating in Scouts, earning the Eagle rank, and working as the Ecology Director at Resica Falls Scout Reservation. Here, Danni taught environmental merit badges, educated youth on land stewardship, and led troop conservation projects. In the fall of 2023, Danni worked as an intern for the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance which established Danni’s further understanding of watershed restoration and nonprofit work. In Danni free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, painting, hiking, and gardening.
